The GlenDronach 2022 Batch 11 Grandeur 28 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the creation of Master Blender Rachel Barrie of BenRiach Group (Brown-Forman's Scotch Whisky branch). Matured for a minimum of 28 years in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, this highly coveted release was produced in a mere 3,181 bottles and is finished to 48.9% ABV. The Grandeur series focuses on special, limited-release iterations of older GlenDronach whisky offered in a regal display case and distinct decanter-style bottle sealed with wax. Batch 11 Grandeur opens with aromatic boughs of dessert sherry, honey, and plums layered in swirls of smoke and creamy roasted walnuts. The palate mirrors the nose perfectly with added hints of dark fruits, chocolate, and black cherries for a sweet, smooth finish.
