When selecting each bourbon used in the blend, the spirit of Irish whiskey was a core consideration - with each of the four-grain blends resembling fruit-forward Irish malts, culminating in an eclectic and exciting bourbon that echoes the bold flavors of Ireland. There is a profoundly juicy, fruity undertone throughout the Kentucky Owl St. Patrick's Day Limited Edition, with citrus, apple, and orchard fruits prevalent alongside sweet vanilla and caramel. About the brand

Formed in the late 19th century and closed for over a century due to the start of Prohibition, Kentucky Owl's story is a rather unusual one. Not many bourbon distilleries are resurrected after such a long hiatus, but Kentucky Owl rose from the ashes in 2010 and has been producing some of the finest, most full-bodied bourbon whiskeys this decade. Increasingly popular and with newfound cult status, the future is bright for this budding historical brand.

You know, despite it being rather gimmicky, it's pretty good bourbon. Nice finish and a nice difference to the standard whsikey
