Royal Lochnagar Game of Thrones House Baratheon 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml Bottle

Located on the grounds of the Abergeldie Estate near Balmoral Castle in Royal Deeside Scotland, the Royal Lochnagar distillery was first founded in the early 19th century by James Robertson of Crathie. However, due to suspected nefarious circumstances in 1824 - and again in 1826 and 1841 - the facility was repeatedly burnt down. John Begg re-established Lochnager in 1845 and rebuilt the distillery in 1848, receiving a Royal Warrant from the Queen following a visit to the distillery by Prince Albert. The distillery produced whisky sold under the name John Begg until the late 20th century when it changed hands and became a private company. Soon after, ownership was taken over by DCL (now Diageo), who continues to lease the facility from the Abergeldie Estate. Royal Lochnagar is the smallest whisky distillery in Diageo's vast portfolio and offers up limited-release iterations and crafts distillates used in other iconic brands, including Johnnie Walker Black and Blue Label.
