By Day Four of a 6-day voyage I was getting scotched out". The journey transport bars supplied various scotch whiskies and I was attempting them all. Needing a switch up I requested a rye with two ice blocks. This is the thing that they poured for me. What's more a fine rye bourbon it was! Tasting Notes

Nose

Coming in at 90% Pacific Northwest rye, the whiskey promises to be spicy. The first impression on the nose, however, is alcohol.

Taste

The palate emphasizes bold, hot spices such as cinnamon, tempered only slightly by vanilla.

Finish

The finish melts into orange peel, fruitwood and ginger, before evaporating rather quickly, leaving one with the unexpected sensation of having just put down a hot toddy.
