Bottled in 2013 and released in a limited run of just 2,000 select pieces, this exceptional extra-aged NAS bourbon is composed of a mash bill containing 77% corn, 13% rye, and 10% malted barley, matured initially in new charred American oak and then finished in select Pedro Ximenez ex-sherry casks. Aromatic notes of thick oak, spice, licorice, and caramel are followed by undertones of premium sherry. The palate announces itself with layers of more sherry, cocoa, vanilla, toffee candies, and preserved dark fruits drizzled in more caramel. …

A true American icon, Jim Beam was first established in 1795 with over seven generations of the Beam family involved in producing one of the most celebrated brands of whiskey in the world. This legacy whiskey was originally labeled under the name Old Jake Beam Sour Mash by founder Johannes “Jacob” Beam and is manufactured in Clermont Kentucky by Beam Suntory, who purchased the brand in 2014.
