This 16 year old Rocky Mountain straight rye was released with a limited time run of just 1300 bottles and made available only at their Utah facilities gift shop … so it’s now lie to say we’d risk embarrassment and sing a few bars of “ain’t no mountain high enough” to get our hands (and lips) on a glass of this pristine whiskey! The aroma rolls up from the first pour with layers of invitingly warm baked spices and freshly harvested fruits. Sweet this of caramel drizzled ginger bread cookies, honeycomb candies, and roasted oak are soon joined by light kisses of juiced oranges and lemons. The mouth is coated in a beautiful balance of spiced vanilla, ginger, and caramel over hues of classic sweet rye.
