Stagg, previously Stagg Jr., is a brand of premium bourbon created by world-renowned whiskey masters, Buffalo Trace Distillery. Sibling to BTD's Antique Collection George T. Stagg bourbon and named in honor of the same historic figure, this popular dram is released in limited batches twice a year and utilizes Buffalo Trace's proprietary mash bill #1 - the same mash used to make Eagle Rare, classic E. H. Taylor Jr, and other iconic iterations. Crafted as a barrel-proof bourbon, Stagg is typically matured for a minimum of 8 years, but rarely surpasses the double-digits, thus ensuring its unique tasting profile and finish. Each curated batch is offered in the Summer and Winter, with the first release launched in the early part of 2013 under the original name of Stagg Jr. Increasingly beloved by bourbon enthusiasts around the world.
