Mala Vida

Created by world-renowned music artist Alex Gonzalez, aka "The Animal" from the pop rock band MANA, Mala Vida Tequila is a product of the Tequilas el Mexicano distillery and is crafted at the hands of master tequila maker Don Leon Banuleos. Developed through the inspiration of Gonzalez in the pursuit of offering a tequila that would highlight the culture of Jalisco, Mexico, Mala Vida is cited as a reflection of passion and heart by the artist/owner. Composed of matured agave grown in the highlands of the Jalisco region, the agave juice is double distilled and carefully curated from aging to bottling. The brand has won multiple awards including the platinum medal at the 2019 SIP Awards International Spirits Competition for Mala Vida Reposado and gold at the Spirits Selection Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2016 for their Blanco tequila, among many others.
