Sassenach Spirits

Sassenach Spirits Co. was established by renowned Scottish-born actor Sam Heughan - of the hit TV series Outlander - and American entrepreneur Alex Norouzi. The team, alongside Master Blender Michael Henry of Loch Lomond Distillery, set out to offer premium Scottish Highland whisky in limited edition releases and has won multiple awards for their iterations, including double gold at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Championship and the 2021 New York World Wine and Spirits Competition for the brand's Sasseanch Scotch Whisky. Sassenach Spirits Co. is a division of the Great Glen Company - which Heughan created to offer spirits and other products he truly believes in, all inspired by his Scottish heritage. In addition to Scotch, Sassenach Spirit Co. launched a selection of tequila in December 2021 in collaboration with master distiller Antonio Salles of the El Tequileno distillery. Released in extremely limited quantities, Sassenach Spirits' selections often sell out within months of being available on the market, well-establishing this brand as a highly respected and equally favored producer of premium spirits.
