Launched in 2021 by renowned icon Kendall Jenner, 818 Tequila is a brand of premium tequila created with sustainability and innovation in mind. Named after the 818 area code of the San Fernando Valley from which Jenner is from - this relative newcomer has already made a big splash in the spirits world. With a mission statement that cites putting people and the planet over profit, the brand dedicates 1% of the profits from every bottle of 818 sold to environmental non-profit organizations to promote a greener future. The tequila is derived from 100% blue Weber agave grown on local farms in Jalisco, Mexico, using traditional and time-honored methods and left to mature for at least 7 years before being harvested. Presented in stylized bottles showcasing the 818 branding, 818 Tequila offers several varietals, including 818 Reposado, Anejo, and the Eight Reserve - a unique blend of 818 Anejo and Extra Anejo aged for at least eight years in French and American barrels.
