Cincoro Tequila was developed and co-founded by internationally renowned sports phenomenon Michael Jordan along with his then-fiancee Emilia Fazzalari and 3 other NBA executives, namely; Jeanie Buss - co-owner of the Lakers, Wes Edens - co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck. These five created Cincoro as a brand of super-premium tequila derived from hand-harvested 100% blue Weber agave that is grown in both the highland and lowland regions of Jalisco Mexico. Cincoro is said to have sold out in four markets even before it officially launched in 2019 and has since recorded sales of over 1.5 million bottles as of 2022. Produced by contract distillation with Destiladora del Valle de Tequila, this ultra-elite brand currently offers four varietals; Cincoro Blanco and Reposado, Cincoro Anejo, and the brand’s Extra Anejo which is matured up to 44 months in a custom underground Cava located at the distillery.
