Puni Distillery began as an idea from the mind of builder Albrecht Ebensperger - who quite literally constructed the foundation of the first Italian whisky distillery back in 2010. Situated in the Ortler mountain range near the town of Glorenza, Puni Distillery is named for the nearby river of Puni, a beautiful cascade of mountain water that rushes through the Venosta valley. The distillery released its first bottling in 2012 and has grown in international acclaim since then, crafting artisan whisky using handcrafted traditional copper pot stills with utmost care and precision. Offering three proprietary malt recipes as well as a new 100% pure barley malt iteration using ingredients sourced from Bavaria, Germany - Puni harness premium casking for its distillates, including premium ex-bourbon from America, ex-wine casks from Italy, and ex-sherry casks from Spain. A statement of elegance, Italian craftsmanship, and passion - enjoy Puni Whisky today!
