Established by husband and wife duo Eugene and Catherine Trefethen in 1968, Trefethen Family Vineyards is located on the pristine soils of the renowned Napa Valley of California, USA. Cited to contain vineyards linked to the historic Eshcol vinery tracing its origins back to 1886 - Trefethen offers superbly crafted original wines produced in highly curated quantities and offered to winery members, collectors, and online guests. Priding themselves on a sustainable approach to wine production, founders Eugene and Catherine passed down their love and passion for world-class, estate-grown wines to their winery family - including third-generation Trefethen descendants. Winning multiple awards for its blends, Trefethen was recently awarded the California Green Medal Environment Award in 2022 - further cementing the brand's roots in producing the best wines with sustainability and green methodologies in mind. The winery produces several varietals, from Trefethen Dry Reisling to a premium Hillspring Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as members-only iterations such as the Katie's Acre 2021 Chardonnay - an exceptionally crafted, hand-selected Chardonnay created to honor founder Kate (Catherine) Trefethen.
