Silver Oak Cellars is a brand of ultra-premium Napa Valley wine co-founded in 1972 by Ray Twomey Duncan - Colorado entrepreneur - and Justin Meyer, an expertly trained winemaker who learned the trade under the apprenticeship of Christian Brothers. The pair started by producing a mere 1,000 cases of wine from their dairy barn - building the brand over the next two decades into a popular cult wine favored among wine lovers and collectors alike. Now family-run by the sons of Ray Duncan - David and Tim Duncan - Silver Oak Cellars continues the legacy their father left behind, offering sublime vintages of varying selections from Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and the brand's limited Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - all aged exclusively in American oak barrels.
