Woodford Reserve is a brand of highly select premium bourbon produced by the Brown-Forman Corporation. This small-batch Kentucky whiskey is a blend of copper still and column still spirits distilled by both the Woodford Reserve Distillery and Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. First introduced in 1996, Woodford Reserve has roots going as far back as the first foundation of the distillery in 1812, when it was originally the Labrot & Graham Distillery (formally the Old Oscar Pepper Distillery). The brand produces various iterations of acclaimed bourbons including limited releases such as Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection, a Kentucky-only Distillery Series, and a series of highly-collectible special release bottlings offered annually coinciding with its sponsorship of one of the world’s most famous sporting events; the Kentucky Derby. Since its launch, Woodford Reserve has become a lead-runner in the American bourbon whiskey market - selling over 1 million cases as of 2021.
