Known as one of the best-selling spirit brands in the world, Stolichnaya Vodka – better known as Stoli – is a brand of Russian-made vodka derived from a blend of wheat and rye grains. First introduced in the 1900s, this historically renowned vodka was originally produced in the Moscow State Wine Warehouse No.1. There is some dispute over exactly when Stoli was officially founded, however, the earliest confirmed date of production is 1948 – with some theories stating it was first created by V.G Svirida around early 1940. Despite this confusion, this internationally recognized brand has become extremely popular throughout the world and offers a multitude of varieties including its original Stoli 80 proof Red Label, Cristall or Gold Label, 100 proof Blue Label, and over 15 different flavored expressions. The brand’s Elit label varietal offers premium selections of Stoli and has gone on to win several awards including silver at the 2011 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
