Introduced by the head of Seagram Edgar Bronfman, Sr. in 1963, Sabra is a richly flavored liqueur produced in Israel by the Binyamina Winery Ltd. The name is derived from the affectionate Hebrew term for a native Israeli Jew and is associated with a prickly pear cactus grown in Israel. The liqueur was originally crafted using this fruit - however, the recipe was revised shortly after that to the now internationally recognized chocolate-based profile. To date, the brand includes three Sabra liqueurs: the classic Chocolate Orange, Sabra Coffee, and Grand Sabra - a beautifully rich orange-flavored brandy. All products are Kosher-made and Passover-approved, and curated to reflect the highest quality in honor of the brand's Jewish heritage.
