Ole Smoky

Ole Smoky Distillery opened in 2010, becoming the first federally licensed distillery in East Tennessee after taking advantage of the repeal of state law regarding the distillation of spirits in Tennessee. At the time of its opening, Ole Smoky was one of only four operational distilleries in Tennessee. The brand offers uniquely flavored variations of traditionally distilled moonshine crafted from a proprietary 100 year old family recipe – a recipe perfected with the help of Master distiller Dave Pickerell, previously of the highly-acclaimed bourbon producer Marker’s Mark. The product line-up includes Ole Smoky’s higher proof iterations such as White Lightnin’, Original, and Lemon Drop Lightnin, as well as several extremely popular flavored moonshines; Pineapple, Watermelon, Peach, and even Apple Pie, among others. This prize-winning moonshine maker uses locally sourced ingredients in all of its releases and is quickly becoming one of the leading providers of exceptionally enjoyable moonshine in North America.
